Insurance policy register

Register

Your own policies and when each one runs out — so the renewal is not a surprise.

Your policies, not somebody else’s certificates

This is a renewal diary for cover you buy. It is not a COI register: tracking the certificates your vendors give you is a different job with a different question behind it, and there is a separate tool for that.

What it deliberately does not hold

No premium. No bank account, card or premium finance arrangement — there is no field for any of them. No claim, no loss run, no incident detail. A renewal diary does not need those, and a website is not where they belong.

It also gives no advice. CompliMaint states no required cover, no limit, no deductible and no adequacy; it performs no gap analysis and makes no determination that you are properly insured. That conversation is with your broker, who can see your business.

Scope, and one honest limitation

Policies are kept against a site or entity record. Where your policies genuinely belong to a company rather than to a building, keep them against the record you use for that entity and say so in the notes — this register uses the site scope the product has today.

The other expiry lists: COI register · Certificate register · Service agreement register

A renewal diary for your own insurance policies, kept on your device. It is not a certificate register for other people's insurance and not a claims file. It holds no premium, no bank, card or finance information, no claim and no loss-run content, and has no field for any of them. CompliMaint states no required cover, limit or deductible, performs no gap analysis, and makes no determination that you are adequately insured — that is a conversation with your broker. Everything runs on your device.

Questions people ask

Will it tell me whether I have enough cover?
No. CompliMaint states no required cover, no limit and no deductible, performs no gap analysis and makes no adequacy determination of any kind. It records the policies you told it you hold and when they run out. Whether that cover is right for your business is a question for your broker.
Can I record the premium?
No, and there is no field for it. This is a renewal diary, not an accounts record — and card, bank and premium finance details in particular have no place in a browser tool. Keep the schedule where you already keep it and record here where that is.
Is this the same as the COI register?
No. The COI register tracks certificates other people give you — your vendors’ insurance. This tracks your own policies and their renewal dates. Different question, different tool.
Can I keep claims in it?
No. There is no claim, incident or loss-run field, deliberately. Claims files carry detail that does not belong in a renewal list.
Why are policies kept against a site?
Because that is the scope this product supports today. Where a policy really belongs to a company rather than a building, keep it against the record you use for that entity and note it — the register is honest about which scope it is using rather than inventing a second identity model.
