A set of free work tools across eleven connected applications — Work, Facilities, Services, Construction, HR, Finance, Legal, Property, Dining, Hospitality and Careers. Each tool does one job and produces the document at the end of it: a work order, an invoice, a fire drill log, an offer letter, a lease notice. They are connected rather than separate, so a job, the document it produced and the building it belongs to are one record instead of three.

The tools are free to use and there is nothing to buy to finish a document. They are paid for by a single advertisement in the footer of the maintenance pages and by CompliMaint Premium, which is one product: the full connected CompliMaint experience, rather than a set of plans sold department by department. We do not sell what you type. Without an account we never receive it at all: your records stay in the browser you typed them into. With a CompliMaint workspace they are stored for you so your colleagues and your other devices can read them, and we still do not sell them — see the privacy policy for what that storage is and is not.

No. The free tools need no account, no email address and no trial, and there is no sign-up step between arriving and producing the document you came for. This page used to say there was no cloud sync, no shared team workspace and no per-user permissions, and promised to say so if that changed — so: it has. CompliMaint Cloud exists, a free account takes about a minute to create and needs no payment method, and it adds exactly those three things. Nothing about the free tools changed, and nothing about them requires it.

Without an account: in your own browser, on the device you used. Nothing you type is sent to us, so there is no copy of it on our servers to send you, to lose, or to be asked for. That is what makes the tools usable with no sign-up, and it is also the limit — what you enter on a phone is not on the office desktop. Signed into a CompliMaint workspace: the same records are also stored for that workspace, which is what puts them on your other devices and in front of your colleagues, and every screen that lists records says which of the two you are looking at rather than leaving you to guess.

Yes, and that is the point of them. A tool can create and connect work, documents, facilities, customers and the records around them, so the next tool you open already knows what the last one recorded. Enter a building once and the fire drill log, the compliance calendar and the survey checklist all use it; log a drill and the readiness sheet shows it already evidenced.

Yes. Every tool prints or saves its document as a PDF, and My Facility has an export that writes everything held for a building — the record, its events and its documents — to a single file you can keep, archive or move to another device. Nothing here is a format only we can open.

You lose what has not been exported or printed. Records live in the browser, so clearing site data, using private browsing, or switching to a different device or browser all mean starting empty. Anything you need to keep should be downloaded or printed when you make it, and the My Facility export is the way to hold the lot in one file.

The paperwork and records that ordinary work generates: maintaining and inspecting buildings, dispatching and billing field jobs, running a construction project's documents, hiring and employing people, invoicing and reconciling money, notices and agreements, tenancies and units, and the administrative records behind all of it. Each application lists what it holds.

No, and no tool can. We tell you what the published rule says, cite where we read it, and print the document — but generating a document is not filing it, running the drill or passing the survey. Your licensing agency and your authority having jurisdiction decide that. Where we have not verified a state's rule we say so rather than guessing; a blank is never a finding that nothing is required.

No. A citation means we read the state's own regulation, statute or licensing-agency page and recorded where the figure came from and when we checked it. It is not legal advice and it is not a substitute for asking your agency. Our coverage and its limits are published at /methodology, including the questions we have not been able to answer.

No. CompliMaint is software. It does not supply maintenance labor, facilities staffing, technicians, unit-turn crews or consulting, and it does not take service work. A maintenance-services business operated under this name and is dormant — if you have found a page, a listing or a search result describing screened technicians, hourly coverage or assignments, it is out of date. What the product does is the records side of that work: the schedules, the work orders, the logs, the documents and the money.

Yours, plus a small CompliMaint credit in the footer. The business details, logo and contact information on the document are the ones you enter. Removing the credit entirely is a paid feature we have not launched yet.
