CompliMaint is a set of practical work tools. They are free, they need no account, and they connect to each other — so a job, a document and the building it belongs to are the same record rather than three.
What CompliMaint is

Each tool does one job and produces the document at the end of it — an invoice, a work order, a drill log, an offer letter, a lease notice. What makes them a product rather than a folder of downloads is that they write to the same place: a tool can create and connect work orders, documents, facilities, customers and the related records around them, so the second tool you open already knows what the first one recorded. Every tool is in one list.
Where your information is kept
Local-first, and the second half of that depends on whether you have an account. Records live in the browser you typed them into: with no account that is the only place they are, and nothing you enter is sent to us at all — your work survives closing the tab, and does not survive clearing your browser data or moving to another device. Signed into a CompliMaint workspace, the same records are also stored for that workspace, which is what puts them on your other devices and in front of your colleagues. Every screen that lists records says which of the two it is showing rather than leaving you to work it out. Either way, anything you need to keep a copy of yourself should be printed, downloaded or exported. My Facility writes everything you hold to a single file you can keep or move.
No account required, and an optional one if you want it
The free tools require no account, no email address and no trial. There is no sign-up step between arriving and producing the document you came for. This page used to say there was no cloud sync, no shared team records and no per-user permissions, and promised to say so if that changed — so: it has. A free CompliMaint Cloud account adds exactly those three things and takes about a minute to create, with no payment method required. Nothing about the free tools changed, and nothing about them requires it.
Why compliance is in the name
In a regulated building, done is not enough — it has to be done and provable. Surveys, licensing and liability all come down to what you can put in front of somebody. So the tools produce records rather than answers, and where one states a legal requirement it shows the rule and the date we last read it. What applies to a building is derived from its own state and license class, and where we have not verified a state’s rule the tool says so instead of guessing.
What we do not claim
No tool here makes anybody compliant, and none of them says it does. Generating a document is not filing it, running the drill or passing the survey — your licensing agency and your authority having jurisdiction decide that. How we verify a rule, and the questions we have not been able to answer, are published at methodology.
