complimaint.com (the "Site") is operated by CompliMaint LLC ("CompliMaint," "we," or "us"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Use of the site
The Site provides free document generators and calculators, regulatory information tools, a facility profile and records kept on your own device, and an optional CompliMaint account with workspace records shared across your devices and your colleagues. You agree to provide accurate information and not to misuse the Site or submit fraudulent requests.
The tools, and what they produce
The generators and calculators work from information you enter. The documents, schedules, letters and estimates they produce are yours, and you are responsible for checking them before you rely on them or send them to anybody. We do not review what you generate.
Where a tool states a legal or regulatory requirement, it shows the source it came from and the date we last checked it. Requirements change, sources are sometimes ambiguous, and the rule that applies to your building may turn on facts a tool did not ask about. Nothing on the Site is legal advice and nothing on it is a determination that you are compliant — your licensing agency and your authority having jurisdiction make those determinations, not us.
Calculations and cost estimates are arithmetic applied to figures you supply, and are only as good as those figures. Where a tool emails a document on your behalf, it sends what you asked it to send to the address you gave; delivery is not guaranteed and we do not keep a copy on your behalf unless a feature says so explicitly.
Accounts and CompliMaint Cloud Beta
An account is optional. The tools work without one, and nothing on the Site requires you to create one. You can create a free CompliMaint Cloud account yourself, and an organization can also invite you into its workspace. Cloud Beta is early-access software, and we may decline, suspend or end access at our discretion — including if the service is misused. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account.
Cloud Beta is free. No payment method is required and nothing is charged automatically. If paid plans are introduced, we will tell you before any charge and you will have to enroll yourself.
Beta means the service is being built: features, storage behavior and the way records are organized may change. We have not established HIPAA compliance or any security certification for it, and it is not the place for protected health information or other highly regulated personal information. Keep your own copies of records you are legally or operationally required to retain — you can export your workspace at any time. Records you store remain yours; we store and transmit them so the service can work, and we do not sell them or use them to train anything.
Where you add other people to a workspace, you decide what they may see and you are responsible for that decision. See the Cloud Beta terms and the Privacy page for what is stored and who can read it.
We are not a party to your contracts
When you use the Site to produce an estimate, invoice, work order, notice or any other document for somebody else, that document is between you and them. CompliMaint is not a party to it, does not guarantee payment or performance, and takes no position in a dispute about it. The one exception is where CompliMaint is itself providing facility services to you under a separate written agreement — those terms govern that work.
No guarantee of assignments or earnings
Applying to or joining the CompliMaint network does not create an offer of employment for any specific assignment and does not guarantee any amount of work or earnings. Assignments depend on availability, location, qualifications, screening results, and facility demand. Nothing on the Site should be read as a promise of a particular schedule, pay, or volume of work.
Submissions
Information you submit is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not submit information you do not have the right to share.
Intellectual property
The CompliMaint name, logo, and Site content are the property of CompliMaint and may not be copied or used without permission.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CompliMaint is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Site.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site means you accept the current version.
