Questions people ask
- Does it hold the login or the payment details?
- No. There is no field for a bank account, a routing number, a card or a password. The account reference is the number you quote when you call them, which is not a payment credential.
- Does it look up who supplies the building?
- No. There is no provider directory and no connection to any utility. Every line is one you typed off your own bill.
- Does it pay or transfer anything?
- No. It pays nothing, transfers nothing and closes nothing. It is a reference sheet.
- Why is this useful?
- Because when somebody leaves, the knowledge of which company supplies what — and what the account reference is — usually leaves with them. One printed page answers it.
- Can I record whose name the account is in?
- Yes, in the notes, along with the billing day and anything else the next person needs. That is often the detail that matters most at a handover.
