- Where do the invoices come from?
- From the documents already on this device — invoices and payment applications you produced with the invoice and progress billing tools — less the payments you recorded against them. Nothing is imported and nothing is entered twice.
- Does it store the report?
- No. It stores nothing and creates no record. Every time you open it, it reads what is there and adds it up. Change an invoice and the report changes.
- Does it say who is a credit risk?
- No. It grades nothing, flags no account as doubtful or at risk, recommends no collection step and adds no interest or late fee. It states balances and ages. Which invoices to chase is your decision.
- Why are paid invoices missing?
- Because an aging report is a list of what is outstanding, and an invoice paid in full is not. Anything with a balance — including an overpayment, which shows as negative — is on the list.
- Can I change the age bands?
- The bands are 30, 60 and 90 days, which is the convention most people recognize. They belong to this report’s definition rather than to the engine, so nothing else in the product inherits them.
