Collections contact log
RegisterWho you spoke to about an overdue account, when, and what was said.
The record is the point
When somebody asks what was done to collect, the answer is either a dated list or a memory. This is the list: who was spoken to, when, how, what they said and what they promised. Written on the day it is evidence; reconstructed later it is an argument.
Nothing is generated and nothing is sent
No letter, no email, no escalation and no automation. The tool has no outbound anything. What leaves your business is written by you, by hand, subject to whatever governs it.
No interest, no fees, no grading
It adds nothing to a balance and takes no view on whether an account will pay. Both of those are decisions with legal consequences, and neither belongs to a page that is simply keeping a record straight.

A historical record of contacts. CompliMaint generates no collection letter or notice, sends nothing, proposes no contact schedule, calculates no interest, late fee or collection charge, makes no assessment of collectability and gives no legal or credit advice. Debt collection is regulated and the rules differ by jurisdiction — take advice. Everything runs on your device.
Questions people ask
- Does it write a collection letter?
- No. It generates no letter, no demand and no notice, and it sends nothing. What you may write and how you may say it is governed by your contract and, depending on who you are chasing and where, by federal and state law. This records what already happened.
- Does it suggest when to chase again?
- No. The follow-up date is one you chose. There is no cadence, no escalation ladder and no schedule — a tool that proposed one would be recommending a collections practice, which is not something a free log should do.
- Does it add interest or a late fee?
- No. It applies no interest, no late fee and no collection charge. What you may add to an overdue balance comes from your agreement and from the law where you are.
- Does it say whether an account is collectable?
- No. There is no grading, no bad-debt assessment and no probability of recovery. It records contacts; the judgment is yours.
- Can I use this for consumer debts?
- The tool takes no view, but the law does. Contacting consumers about debts is heavily regulated and the rules differ by state. If that is your situation, take advice before you use any process — including this one.
