A booking sheet is the tool people most naturally assume is shared: you write your name against Thursday and expect somebody else’s screen to know. Nothing in this product syncs, publishes availability, notifies anybody or holds a booking for anyone else. Two people on two devices can write down the same afternoon and neither screen will know — and a van double-booked is a real failure, so the tool says what it is rather than letting anybody assume otherwise.

The vehicle is a real thing in your equipment register

The sheet is kept against a vehicle you registered, by its id — so renaming the van moves nothing, and two vans that people both call “the white one” are two vehicles with two histories. It computes no mileage, no fuel consumption and no cost per mile, and it makes no determination about roadworthiness or anybody’s fitness to drive.

Not through this product. It is kept in one browser on one device and does not sync, publish or notify. Print it or keep it on the shared machine by the keys.
Does it work out the mileage for a trip?
No. Out and in are two numbers you record. Nothing here subtracts, totals or converts them, and no cost per mile is computed.
Where does the vehicle come from?
Your equipment register, where a vehicle has a category, a location and an id of its own. This sheet attaches to that id.
Does it say whether the vehicle is safe to drive?
No. It records a condition note somebody wrote and makes no determination about roadworthiness or fitness to drive.
