Equipment service record

Everything ever done to one piece of equipment, on one page.

Pick a piece of equipment and see everything filed against it. Nothing to set up and nothing to keep up to date — it is assembled from the inspections, work orders and repairs you have already recorded.

What the equipment service record is for

Everything that has happened to one piece of equipment, in one place. Pick a boiler, a generator, an elevator — and see every inspection, work order, repair and open item filed against it, what it has cost so far, and what it would cost to replace. Assembled from records you already have; there is nothing to keep up to date. The thing you came to do is “see one machine's history”, and this is the page that does it.

It is filed under maintenance & work — dispatching, doing and proving the physical work — and under “track something”, which is registers that answer a question later. There is one page for it, at this address, however you arrived.

Written for facilities.

When people reach for it

  • Everything ever done to one piece of equipment, on one page — people arrive here typing “asset register”, “equipment history”, “asset history”.

What it records, and where the record goes

Everything ever done to one piece of equipment, on one page. It keeps no records of its own: it reads the work, documents, assets and contacts you have already recorded and arranges them, so there is no second copy of anything to keep in step. What you enter stays in this browser, on this device. There is no account to make and nothing is uploaded; it reaches another device only if you activate CompliMaint Cloud Beta and sign in.

  • Records — every document this device holds, filed as you work.
  • CompliMaint Facilities — Know what is required, do it on the day, keep the record that proves it.
  • Equipment — Plant, machines and the record of what was done to them.
