Staff roster
Coverage planWho is working, in what role, and when — so the week is covered.
The week on one sheet
Person, role, days, times, area. Five columns is what a roster needs and roughly where most spreadsheets stop being readable.
No pay, and no rules applied
No rates, no cost, and no working-time or rest rules enforced. What the law requires about hours and breaks where you are is a question this tool does not answer.
Around it
Who is away that week is the away calendar. Hours actually worked are the timesheet, and the handoff between shifts is the shift handover log.
A coverage plan. It holds no pay rate or cost, and applies no working-time, rest-break or maximum-hours rule. Everything runs on your device.
Questions people ask
- Does it cost the roster?
- No. There is no pay rate, no cost and no hours-for-pay total anywhere in it. A roster that priced itself would be a payroll document; this is a plan you pin to a wall.
- Does it check anybody's availability?
- No. It knows nothing about who is away — that is the away calendar, and it is worth having both open when you build a week.
- Can I print it for the break room?
- That is what it is for. The printed sheet is the roster; nothing about it is on screen only.
- Does it enforce break or rest rules?
- No. It applies no working-time rule, no rest-period rule and no maximum-hours rule of any kind. Those differ by jurisdiction and by the kind of work, and this product has read none of them.
