Does it work out the next due date?
Not in this register — the next date is the one you type, and nothing here calculates a recurrence or raises anything. That is deliberate: it is a list you keep, and it works with no account. How is this different from a service agreement?

Yes. How often is a sentence you write, not a dropdown — “quarterly in advance, first working day” is a perfectly good answer.
