Owner statement

Worksheet

What came in, what went out, and the balance — worked out from lines you entered.

The month, in one page

Rent in, management fee out, a plumber, the insurance — and what is left. Typed once, added up in whole cents, printed for the owner.

It is not accounting and does not pretend to be

No ledger, no journal, no accruals, no close, no tax position and no revenue-recognition conclusion. Those belong with whoever does your books, and a worksheet that implied otherwise would be doing somebody a disservice.

Whole cents, all the way through

Every amount is parsed by the product’s one money rule and added in integer cents, so the statement foots against its own visible column.

Alongside this: Owner register · Rent collection · Customer statement

A worksheet that does arithmetic on figures you entered. CompliMaint keeps no general ledger, applies no accounting or tax treatment, reaches no revenue-recognition conclusion and gives no financial or tax advice. Everything runs on your device.

Questions people ask

Is this accounting?
No, and the distinction is not a technicality. There is no general ledger here, no chart of accounts, no double entry, no accruals and no period close. It is arithmetic on lines you typed.
Does it take a tax position?
No. It reaches no revenue-recognition conclusion and applies no tax treatment. What any of these figures means on a return is a question for whoever prepares it.
Are the categories required?
No. What each line is called is your words. Nothing here is a chart-of-accounts code or an accounting classification.
Where do the figures come from?
From you. Nothing is imported, pulled from a bank or read from another tool.
How is this different from a customer statement?
A customer statement is an account between you and a customer. This is what a managing agent sends the owner of a property they manage.
