Expense claim

Field record

What you spent, when, what it was for and whether you have the receipt — on one printable claim form.

It computes nothing, on purpose

No total, no mileage rate, no policy check and no tax treatment. Every one of those is a figure somebody would be paid on or would rely on, and every one of them depends on rules this tool has not read. It gives the approver a clean, legible claim; the arithmetic and the decision are theirs.

The receipt column is a question, not a store

It asks whether you have it: yes, no, or to follow. That single column is usually the whole reason a claim comes back, and answering it up front saves a round trip. What it never does is hold the receipt — this product stores no files.

Where it sits

The approver’s side of the same transaction is the expense approval register, which is where claims waiting on a decision are queued. Supplier invoices go through the invoice approval register, and things you want bought start as a purchase requisition.

A claim form, printed. CompliMaint computes no total, publishes no mileage rate, applies no expense policy, makes no determination about tax treatment or deductibility, and pays nobody. It holds no receipts and no bank, card or payment details. Everything runs on your device.

Questions people ask

Why is there no total?
Because the total is the figure somebody gets paid, and this form has no business producing it. Your expense policy may cap a category, exclude a line or apply a rate this tool has never seen. The person approving the claim, or the system that pays it, produces the number they act on.
Is there a mileage rate?
No. Mileage rates are tax figures that change, differ by country and are set by authorities rather than by websites. Put the amount you are claiming in the amount column, worked out however your organization works it out.
Can I attach receipts?
No, and the receipt column asks only whether you have one. This product holds no files and stores no images, and transcribing a receipt into a notes box would be storing the thing it says it does not hold. Keep the receipts where your policy says to keep them, and use this to say which lines have one.
Does it pay anything, or hold my bank details?
No to both, and there is nowhere to put them. There is no bank account field, no card number and no payment detail of any kind, because this tool pays nobody and nothing would use them. Payment happens in your payroll or accounts system.
