No. CompliMaint does not host, cache, reproduce, generate or summarize any SDS, and there is no field for the contents of one. Each row records where your authoritative copy is kept and which revision it is, so somebody can go and read the real document.

Why not just store the PDFs here?

Because a safety data sheet is revised, and a stale copy is more dangerous than none — somebody reads a superseded sheet in an emergency and acts on it. The index points at whatever your organization treats as authoritative, which keeps one source of truth rather than creating a second.

Will it tell me if two chemicals should not be stored together?

No. There is no incompatibility, storage, hazard-classification or exposure-limit content anywhere in this product. That information is on the manufacturer's current sheet and it is where it should be read.

Can I record how much I hold?

Yes — there is a container count, and it is a count of what you found. It is not a stock rule: nothing reorders, no threshold exists and no level is recommended.

An index that points at the real document

The SDS field on each row is a pointer, not a copy. “Binder 2, shelf by the door — revision dated 2025-03-11” tells somebody where the authoritative sheet is and which one you hold. That is the useful fact, and it is the only one this tool is entitled to give.

Why it does not hold the sheet itself
