Candidate communication log

Register

Every time you contacted somebody about a role, what it was about, what came back, and when you said you would follow up.

Silence is the thing that costs you candidates

Nobody sets out to leave somebody waiting. It happens because the follow-up lived in one person’s head on a busy week. A log with a next-contact date turns that into something visible — and the tool sorts what is owed to the top, so the person you have gone quiet on is the first one you see.

Nothing here sends anything

No email, no text, no scheduled message, no template. You contact people the way you always did. What this holds is the record of it, which is the part that is genuinely hard to reconstruct three weeks later when somebody asks what you told them.

Where it sits

The candidacy lives in the pipeline, the sessions in the schedule planner, and what you thought of an interview on the scorecard. An offer that follows is drafted in the offer letter builder.

A record of contacts you made elsewhere. CompliMaint sends nothing: it has no email, messaging or integration of any kind. It records no assessment of any candidate, does no scoring or ranking, and makes no hiring decision. Everything runs on your device.

Questions people ask

Does this send emails or texts?
No. There is no email, no messaging and no integration anywhere in this product. Every state on a row is you recording something you did somewhere else — Sent means you sent it. A log that looked like it could send would be a log people expected to send things, and then somebody would be waiting on a message nobody sent.
Why keep a communication log at all?
Because the recruiting failure that costs you people is silence, and it is almost never deliberate. Somebody said they would come back on Thursday, Thursday was busy, and the candidate concluded they did not get it. A dated list with a next-contact date on it is the cheapest way to notice that before they do.
What should not go in here?
Any assessment of the candidate, and anything beyond ordinary recruiting administration. Write down arrangements, questions they asked and what you promised to send. Their answers and how they did belong on the scorecard. Nothing sensitive belongs anywhere in this product.
Is it kept per person or per candidacy?
Per candidacy, by its stable id. If somebody applies twice for two roles, that is one person with two candidacies and two logs, which is almost always what you want — and renaming anybody moves nothing, because nothing here is joined on a name.
