Questions people ask

Does it check my setting out against a tolerance?
No. It supplies no tolerance and compares nothing. Both the value set out and the check value are recorded as read, and the difference between them is for a person to look at.
Does it say the work conforms?
No. Conformance is decided by the specification and by whoever administers it. Nothing on this sheet is a conclusion.
Why record the drawing revision?
Because setting out from a superseded drawing is one of the most expensive mistakes on a project, and the revision you actually worked from is the fact that answers it afterwards.
Can two surveyors keep separate sheets?
Every sheet belongs to a project by its stable id, so two projects never share one. Within a project, the surveyor and the date are on the sheet.
