Site mobilization checklist
Project checklistFencing, power, water, the trailer, waste, storage and access — what is in place, what is coming, who is bringing it.
The week nobody documents
Mobilization is two weeks of arrangements made by phone, and it is almost never written down anywhere until something is missing on the morning the crew arrives. One list with a supplier and a date against each line costs ten minutes and settles the question.
Your list, not ours
The tool publishes no required set-up items, recommends no supplier and states no code, permit or safety requirement for anything on the list. It holds what you typed and tells you what is still open.
Before and after
The paperwork side of getting ready is the preconstruction checklist. Once the site is running, the day is the contractor daily report and what arrives is the material delivery log.
An administrative checklist of site set-up items you chose. It publishes no required items and states no code, permit or safety requirement for site establishment. Everything runs on your device.
Questions people ask
- Is there a standard list of what a site needs?
- Not here. Every site is different — an occupied hospital corridor and a greenfield pad have almost nothing in common — and publishing a list would state a requirement this product cannot stand behind. You type the items. What the tool gives you is one place they all live, with the supplier and the date beside each.
- Does it state any safety or code requirements for site set-up?
- No. Nothing here says what fencing, signage, lighting, hoarding or access a site must have. Those come from your jurisdiction, your own program and whatever is written into the contract.
- Can two jobs mobilizing in the same week share a list?
- They cannot, and that is deliberate. Each item is stored against one job by its stable id, so two jobs with similar lists — or even the same name — keep entirely separate ones, and renaming a job changes nothing about which items belong to it.
- What is the difference between an item being done and the checklist being filed?
- An item moves through its own stages and stays live. Filing produces a dated record of the list as it stood, which is the thing you print or hand over. Filing does not close anything.
