It does not know what any court, registry or agency charges, does not look one up, and states no amount. The figure on a row is the one you read off your own receipt. Fee schedules change, differ by filing type and differ by jurisdiction, and a number this product printed would be wrong somewhere and relied on anyway.

It takes no view on whether a fee was right

Whether a fee was payable at all, whether the amount was correct, and whether it can be passed on to anybody are three separate questions, and this log answers none of them. It records that you paid, what for, and what you say happened next.

Does it total what is due?
No. There is no calculation of anything owed or outstanding. It is a list of payments made.
Is this the same as the cost advance log?
They overlap and they are kept apart on purpose. This one is about fees paid to an office or registry; the advance log is about any ordinary cost you fronted. Use whichever matches how you actually file your paperwork, or both.
Can I record a fee that was waived?
Record it however you would in a paper ledger — the amount box takes what you type and the notes are yours. CompliMaint has no concept of a waiver and asserts nothing about one.
