- Does it tell me whether the concrete passed?
- No. It supplies no acceptance criterion, applies none and issues no pass or fail. Whether a result is acceptable is decided by your specification, by the engineer of record and by whoever administers the contract.
- Can I put my specified strength in?
- Yes — as a figure copied from your own documents, in a field that says so. It is recorded beside the results and nothing is compared against it. You may also set your own range, and the log will flag readings outside YOUR figure and call it yours.
- Does it evaluate the mix design?
- No. The mix reference and the supplier are recorded as written. Nothing here reads a mix design, evaluates one or reaches any conclusion about it.
- Is this the test report?
- No. The laboratory's report is the record, and there is a field to note that you hold it. This log is your index of what it said, kept where you can find it against the placement.
