What outside collaborators can see
Share one work order, project, contract or assessment with a contractor, vendor or inspector — and nothing around it.
ConceptReviewed September 27, 2026
People outside your organization are not added to your workspace. You share a single record with them — a work order, a project, a contract or an assessment — and they work on it from Shared Work.
What they see
Only that record, its shared files and the messages marked for them — never internal notes, costs or anything else. Comments stay internal unless posted as a message to outside collaborators.
Share a record
- Open the record and find “Outside access”.
- Press “Share with someone outside”, then “Invite someone outside”.
- Enter their email and company, choose the relationship (vendor, contractor, inspector…), what they can do, and how long access lasts.
- Press “Send invitation”. Somebody you have worked with before can be shared with directly.
What they can do
Each share says exactly: see it, post updates, upload photos and documents, record arrival and progress, mark their part finished, or confirm service visits.
