Quick start for contractors, vendors and inspectors
What Shared Work is, what you can see, and how to do the work you were given.
Role guideReviewed September 27, 2026
Shared Work is where an organization shares a single job with you — a work order, a project, a contract or an assessment. You see only what you need to do that work, never the rest of their workspace.
- Needs you — work waiting on you.
- Coming up — scheduled work.
- Invitations — new work offered to you. See Accept an invitation.
What you can do on each record — post updates, upload photos, record arrival, mark your part finished — is exactly what the organization chose when they shared it.
Something missing? Only the organization that shared it can give you more. If they revoke it, it disappears from Shared Work.
