Where work orders come from
Work raised from housekeeping, kitchens, turns, inspections and compliance keeps its origin.
ConceptReviewed September 27, 2026
Every work order records where it came from, so the person doing it knows the context and the place it came from can see what happened.
- Raised by hand, or from a request.
- From a maintenance schedule.
- From an inspection finding or a compliance requirement.
- From an accepted estimate, or as follow-up work.
- Found while cleaning (Housekeeping), found in the kitchen (Dining), found in a guest room (Hospitality), found on a unit turn (Property).
Raising work does not mark the finding or requirement as done. It stays open until its own completion is recorded.
