Raise a work order
Create work directly, with the building, urgency and person already set.
How toReviewed September 27, 2026
- Open Work orders and press the new-work button at the top (it uses your organization's word — “New job” unless it was changed).
- Fill in “What needs doing?”, the building and where in it, and “How urgent”.
- Optionally choose the trade, kind of work, a due date, equipment and a procedure (a checklist the technician works through).
- Under “Who is doing it”, pick a person — or leave it on the unassigned list.
- Press “Raise the work order”.
If something similar is already open, you are warned “Possibly already open” before a duplicate is made.
Work can also be raised from where a problem was found — a compliance requirement, an inspection finding, a unit turn, a kitchen log. The work order then records where it came from.
