For Michigan adult foster care homes, 6 to 20 beds
Your home's compliance year, set up in a few minutes.
Made for family and group homes run by their owners. Tell CompliMaint your license and what your house has, and it lays out the drills, training and checks your year holds — your drills on every shift, your repairs and your inspection binder in one place.
Free during the beta, for you and your staff: each of them gets their own login, invited from the app. No card. Premium isn't on sale yet, and nobody is charged without being told the price and agreeing to it first.
What it does for your home
- Your home
Set up in a few short steps
Your license, your licensed beds, and what your house has. A typical small home is filled in for you to confirm, so your calendar has no sprinkler, hood or elevator inspections unless you say your home has one.
- Drills
A drill on every shift, every quarter
Michigan's adult foster care rules ask you to practice your emergency plan on each shift — 7 to 3, 3 to 11 and 11 to 7 — at least once a quarter (R 400.619(8)). Your calendar counts each shift, starting the day you join.
- Training
Staff instruction, dated
Staff instructed on the emergency plan every quarter and when they start (R 400.619(7)), recorded and ready to show.
- Repairs
A short list for the jobs you fix yourself
What broke, where it is, and when it was done. It stays on the list until it is fixed.
- The visit
Ready for the licensing consultant
Your emergency plan, your logs and an inspection binder for the home, with anything missing listed.
- Your team
Everyone sees the same home
Invite your staff by email as you set up. Each gets their own login and records drills, logs and repairs from their phone.

Questions people ask
- Is it really free?
- Yes, during the beta. There’s no card and nothing to cancel. Premium isn’t on sale yet, so there’s no price, and nobody is charged without being told the price and agreeing to it first.
- Will this make sure I pass my licensing visit?
- No — no software can promise that. CompliMaint helps you keep clear, dated records and find them fast. Where your calendar names a Michigan rule, it cites it. CompliMaint isn’t affiliated with or approved by any state agency.
- Which Michigan rules does it use?
- The adult foster care licensing rules that took effect November 3, 2025 (R 400.601 to R 400.745), which apply to family, small group and large group homes alike. Your license decides the rest, so the setup asks for it.
- My home has no sprinkler system and no commercial kitchen. Will I see those inspections?
- Not once you’ve said so. The setup asks what your home has, and anything you answer No to is left off your calendar.
- Can I put resident information in it?
- CompliMaint isn’t HIPAA compliant and isn’t built for protected health information, so please don’t enter health details like diagnoses, medications or care notes.
