Illinois resident emergency information

Each resident must be oriented to the emergency and evacuation plans within 10 days of arrival, including being helped to identify and use the emergency exits. The orientation must be documented and signed and dated by the resident or the resident's representative. This is a move-in workflow obligation, not just a plan section.

This one holds personal information.

Mobility and assistance needs are health information about a named person. It stays on this device and is never sent anywhere — but the printed sheet does leave the screen, so treat it the way you treat a care plan.

Counting from admission

Record the admission date beside the orientation date. The orientation date alone shows it happened; the pair shows it happened inside Illinois’s 10-day window, which is the thing actually being asked. The Illinois staff training record is the other half of the same request, and both feed the Illinois readiness sheet.

Mobility and assistance needs are health information about a named person. Nothing typed here is sent anywhere, and the shared building record keeps only the date an orientation happened — never what the sheet said about the resident.
